Drill into the full financial picture for a single customer: their invoices, adjustments, and payment history. The account detail view shows everything you need to understand an account's status.
Open the account detail
From the Customers Dashboard, click any customer row. The detail view opens with a tabbed interface.
Invoices tab
The Invoices tab shows all invoices for this customer. You can filter by status:
- Open — Invoices that are unpaid or partially paid.
- Paid — Invoices that have been fully paid.
- Partially Paid — Invoices where some amount has been applied but a balance remains.
Each invoice row shows:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Invoice Number | The invoice identifier from your ERP |
| Amount | Original invoice amount |
| Balance | Remaining unpaid amount |
| Due Date | When payment is due |
| Status | Current status (open, paid, partially paid) |
| Line Item Statuses | Status of individual line items on the invoice |
This tab answers the question, "What exactly does this customer owe, and how old is it?"
Debit Adjustments tab
The Debit Adjustments tab shows any debit adjustments on the account, such as additional charges or overpayment corrections. Each entry shows the amount, date, and status.
Credit Adjustments tab
The Credit Adjustments tab shows credit adjustments applied to the account, including discounts, write-offs, or other reductions. Each entry shows the amount, date, and status.
Payments tab
The Payments tab shows incoming payments received from this customer through Drypowder. Each payment shows:
- Amount and payment method (ACH or card)
- Status (Pending, Settled, Frozen, Terminated, Disputed)
- Date initiated
This tab is filtered to show only payments from this specific customer, so you can see their payment history without switching to the main Payments page.
Account summary
At the top of the detail view, you can see the customer's key information:
- Account name and external ID
- Account type (Cash, Credit, System)
- Invitation status (whether they have been invited to the Payments portal)
- Total outstanding amount
What to look for
High balance with old invoices. If the invoices tab shows significant amounts past due, this account needs attention. Check whether the customer has been invited to the portal; if not, that is a good first step.
Recent payments. If the Payments tab shows recent activity, the customer is engaged. Check whether the payments cover the oldest invoices or just the newest.
Credits and debits. Adjustments can explain why a balance does not match what you expect. If there are credits pending, the effective outstanding amount is lower than the raw invoice total.
